Keep files, backups and local services more under your own control

Placement and configuration of a NAS or small home server: backups of your files, a media server or Home Assistant as host, and access within the home network.

  • Files and backups in one place at home, not scattered across devices
  • One quiet device that combines storage, media and smart home
  • Your data stays within your own home network

Families who want their files and backups in one place at home, Home Assistant users looking for a fixed host, and anyone who wants to serve films, music and photos to the devices at home through their own media server.

FAQ

Questions about this service

Is a NAS the same as cloud storage?

A NAS plays a similar role, but the device sits in your own home and your files stay within your own network. You decide who gets access and how the backups are organised.

Do I need a wired network for this?

A stable wired connection is the foundation for a well-functioning NAS. Heliora carries out this service on an existing wired network or in combination with the Ethernet and network cabinet services.
