Start small with a smart home that can grow later
The entry-level package: a local smart home foundation with Home Assistant and Zigbee for a few rooms, with a clear dashboard and simple automations.
- Local control: your automations run in your home, not in the cloud
- One dashboard instead of an app per brand
- A maintainable base that can grow with you
Home Assistant · Zigbee coordinator · basic dashboard · local automations
Does this fit your situation?
Buy smart devices on your own and you often end up with one app per brand, a cloud account for every lamp and automations that stall the moment the internet drops. That makes a smart home more frustrating than comfortable.
Owners who want to start small with smart lighting, sensors or switches and want a maintainable, local system from the start instead of loose gadgets.

FAQ
Questions about this service
Who is Smart Start for?
For anyone who wants to get to know a local smart home system: one or a few rooms, a limited number of devices and simple automations. You experience the essentials without a large investment.
How is it different from Smart Comfort?
Smart Start sticks to the basics: fewer devices, a simpler dashboard and no energy monitoring. Smart Comfort covers the whole home, adds lighting and motion comfort and includes energy metering where technically possible, plus documentation and backup guidance.
Can Smart Start grow later?
Yes. The foundation (Home Assistant and Zigbee) is the same as in the larger packages. You can add devices later or move up to Smart Comfort without starting over.
Do I need a subscription or cloud account?
No. The system runs locally in your home. Wi-Fi is only used where technically necessary, and there is no mandatory subscription.
