How much attenuation does such shielding deliver?
That depends on the materials, the number of treated surfaces and the finishing of gaps and windows. Well-executed shielding attenuates signals by tens of dB — every 20 dB reduces signal power by a factor of about one hundred (field strength by a factor of ten). The final measurement shows the actual result in your room.
Who is a shielded room actually for?
For people who, after a measurement, deliberately want fewer wireless signals in one specific room, such as a bedroom. We discuss honestly in advance what is achievable and show the result with a final measurement — only what is measurable is promised.
Can I still use my phone in a shielded room?
Mobile reception in the room decreases sharply — that is exactly the intention. Many customers therefore combine the shielding with a wired internet connection in the room, so that deliberately chosen connections remain possible.
Is this medically necessary?
Heliora makes no medical statements. A shielded room is a precautionary and comfort choice; in the scientific assessments summarised by institutes such as Sciensano, no causal link between everyday EMF levels and health complaints has been established.
